Curtis had already had huge success with both his local and international chef career, so it only seemed natural that he show up in our houses on our television screens. Way back in 2003 Surfing the Menu was an Australian television cooking and lifestyle series on the ABC that featured two chefs who follow their passions of cooking fresh food, surfing, travel and adventure around Australia and New Zealand. His local television success and his absolute passion for food took him to America where he now has a highly regarded and awarded restaurant and catering group complete with a Michelin Star.


Curtis Stone Events launched in 2018 in Los Angeles due to the demand for Curtis Stone’s food within the Los Angeles area and beyond. Curtis Stone Events offered not only private bookings in Curtis’ venues but also on location. From a celebratory lavish feast to an intimate gathering, the Curtis Stone Events team are renowned for creating special occasions that are elegant, relaxed but most of all delicious. In February 2019 after just one year in business, Curtis Stone Events was crowned “Best Catering Company in the West” by the Achievement in Catering & Events Award, California.


Early in 2020 Curtis and his team decided the time was right to return to Melbourne, his hometown, and establish a catering presence. The team at Curtis Stone Events Australia are delighted to bring to Australian Unity the food and philosophy that that has been refined and perfected at his restaurant and catering base in California.
